I saw last night that Andy Warhol's wig sold at auction for $10.800. Alot of moola for a toupe. But it got me thinking of that young stud in his films, Joe Dallesandro. Roy Budd wrote many famous film scores in the 1970's but his most famous is the theme song to the Micheal Caine classic, "Get Carter". The best english gangster film ever. The theme has constantly been updated and remixed. Have a listen, watch the movie.

One of the creepiest books ever is finally coming to the big screen. Patrick Suskind's Perfume would seem impossible to adapt to a medium that only deals in two senses, sight and sound. I'm heartened by news of Dustin Hoffman and Alan Rickman's participation. If you've never read the book, read it and you'll never smell the same way again.
