Sam Jones as Flash Gordon
In 1980, Mike Hodges directed "Flash Gordon", a big screen campy space opera. The movie proved to be cheesy fun for the whole family with stars like Max Von Sydow, Timothy Dalton, Brian Blessed and Peter Wyngarde chewing on the scenery . Earth hunk Sam Jones showed versatility by playing his part in fitted pants, leather shorts, red tights and often barechested. For european fans, Canal Studio released an updated PAL version in 2004. We in the States still wait for a re-release. It can't come soon enough.
Sergiu Update
He may be away for awhile, but Sergiu has sent a few pics to me to keep everyone's breath bated....... enjoy.

Love Parade
Berlin reputation as a major player on the world's hip scene is once again cemented this weekend by tomorrow's Love Parade. My german friends tell me it is something you must experience before dying and I'm dying to experience it. Party down on the banks of the Spree River this weekend.
Kevin Peake
It's amazing what you miss when you don't have cable. I had no idea Kevin Peake was so well known. That he even rates a support group on Yahoo. If you're as much in the dark as me about this beauty, read on.

Pref Magazine
I saw these pics from Pref magazine's gallery section this morning. The piece is called "Baisers Voles". They appear to have been taken in the bathroom of Splash Bar in NYC. Am I wrong?
Jerome Ortiz
I was planning a piece on this cutie for this weekend but see that Closet Conundrums has already beat me to the punch. So instead of doubling up pics, go to Closet for many more pics and links to Jerome's gallery. Closet also has a funny Superman spread. It's like a bad Project Runway challenge.... to redo the man of steel's outfit. Check it out.

Sexo Platonico
This is where my portuguese falls apart..... I think these pics are of sexy brazillian tv star Leonardo Vieira. But it's his package that speaks volumes to me.
Science of Sleep
Gondry has a new flick coming out with one of my fave actors, Gael Garcia Bernal. Here are a few photos from the film and a few older promo pics. Gondry's next flick, "Be Kind, Rewind" will be shot in New Jersey with Jack Black and Chris Rock. Enjoy.
